Waste and recycled material fractions
New developments in environmental policy, ecological requirements as well as the threat of overcommitted disposal facilities in the areas of landfill and incineration for household waste and similar materials from commercial collections, require us to make significant reductions in the large overall volume of disposable waste.
In addressing the subject of "recycling", it was important to SSI SCHAEFER to develop a cost-effective and environmentally friendly container and collection system, that couldbe integrated into the household waste disposal system without significant technical or financial investment and which would permit the largest possible quantity of recyclable materials, sorted by type, to be collected.
