Mandatory annual inspections for warehouse equipment – EU standard DIN EN 15635
The standard EN 15635 "Application and maintenance of storage equipment" was published on 1st August 2009. In combination with the Operational Safety Ordinance (BetrSichV), DIN EN 15635 regulates the scope and procedure of checks performed on storage equipment. As the warehouse owner is responsible for safe operating conditions, he must ensure the safety of his staff, the storage equipment and the integrity of his goods.

The annual inspections are carried out during ongoing operations using visual inspections. The results are logged accordingly and the warehouse is assigned an inspection plaque.
