Felix Schöller GmbH & Co. KG, Weißenborn (Germany)

In view of the Weissenborn plant extension to the main production site for inkjet paper, one thing was certain for the Schoeller Group:

Storage capacity had to be increased significantly.

The concept including AS/RS (Automatic Storage and Retrieval Systems) that are able to move around bends was so convincing that SSI Schäfer, in tis capacity as the general contractor, was awarded the contract to build the fully automated nine-aisle high-bay warehouse.

A future increase in storage and retrieval capacity can be achieved by introducing additional AS/RS.

Potential production expansions have also been taken into consideration with this concept.

Consequently, a cost-effective flexible logistics solution that can always grow in line with the company has been accomplished.
