Unique Safety Concept thanks to the innovative Docking Station:

Thanks to the Docking Station the unit can be localised and the work procedures in the racking system are visible immediately. The aisle is blocked by the station, which is placed across the racking aisle on the 2 consoles placed at the side, making access very difficult. A hazard warning light additionally signals when and where the system is active. The Docking Station is fitted with safety and light barriers as well as Emergency Off Switch, setting new standards as to personal security.

Orbiter: a top class shuttle vehicle.

Designed for loads up to 1,500 kg, the shuttle – compared to established systems - is fitted with redundant safety relevant components. The system operation is maintained by means of permanent communication between the Orbiter and Docking Station thanks to safety and light barriers. If this communication is interrupted the machine will stop and thus guarantees safety at work in line with current valid regulations.

The racks are protected against collisions with the fork lifts thanks to the Protective Floor Rails.

The rack face is designed with a robust, secure electric contact block that transfers power to the docking station used. The contacts are fully all-insulated. Returning to the station after each procedure, the Orbiter is loaded automatically within a few seconds for the next activity.

The impressive hand remote is easy and clear to operate as well as being robust for daily use. Logical and clear icons enable simple and fast operation of the system.
