In the light of decreasing margins with growing cost pressure, the Czech manufacturer of dairy products has restructured its production processes. A cold storage warehouse was built at the company headquarters for re-organisation.
SSI SCHÄFER received the contract for the palette high rack silo with 2,800 storage places and shelf servicing devices, control and palette conveyor technology as a general contractor. “The awarding of this contract signifies a completely new development”, explains SSI SCHÄFER project manager Helmut Fluhrer: “So far the customers have primarily enlisted the services of Czech companies with projects of this type”.
