High bay warehouse in Sarajevo handed over to customer

On the 18th of January 2006, some 200 invited guests came to Sarajevo to attend the official opening ceremony for the newly built high bay warehouse of Bosnalijek (manufacturer of pharmaceutical products).

In this high bay warehouse, products from the pharmaceutical field are handled. Raw materials, packaging material, and finished products are stored in the 25-meter high high-bay warehouse featuring two aisles with one storage and retrieval machine each.

The warehouse features 6,000 pallet storage locations. The complete pallet conveyor system is designed such that Euro and aluminum pallets with a weight of 600 kg can be transported on different levels of the facility.

"Ant", the warehouse management system, is used for the IT connection and control of operative processes.
