Multi-Tier Shelving is a Hit with Northgate Information Solutions

Northgate Information Solutions were so impressed with the speed, service and delivery of products from SSI Schaefer installed within their temporary accommodation in Welwyn Garden City that they did not hesitate to call upon their expert services again for their permanent move back to Hemel Hempstead.

Market leader of software application and outsourcing solutions with over 30 years experience within the IT market, Northgate Information Solutions suffered a set-back in operations when an oil storage depot, situated next to their premises in Hemel Hempstead, had a series of explosions that destroyed the storage depot and a number of close buildings, including its own.

New temporary accommodation urgently required shelving and racking and having remembered the impressive range of products on display at the SSI Schaefer stand, IMHX 2003, Northgate Information Solutions called in the UK’s leading materials handling solutions provider, to supply R3000 modular shelving and LS600 racking. Within two weeks the whole installation was complete.

Following this successful implementation of storage units, Northgate Information Solutions, having moved back to Hemel Hempstead, contacted SSI Schaefer once again to supply a shelving system suitable for spare parts, IT components and accessories.
