Electronic scrap – small appliances

We make the most of your collection system!

On 24 March 2006 the regulations for the disposal of electronic appliances come into effect.

Planning for the collection and recycling of electronic scrap is under way in many areas.  

Whereas existing techniques for the recycling of larger appliances can still be used, the methods for the collection of small appliances are, in many cases, still uncertain. In order to achieve a collection system with comprehensive coverage, sufficient numbers of containers need to be sited in the area to be serviced. Only short distances to the collection sites can achieve maximum public acceptance and, therefore the required collection targets.  

The new Depot Container for small scrap electronic appliances is a logical and effective variation of the well tried and tested Grumbach System. The container is discharged by the normal method into a large container without destroying the appliances. The new Depot Container offers a logical extension to the Grumbach System, which is already installed in many areas, without the need for additional major capital investment. Utilise this long lasting and exceedingly cost-effective container to fulfil the new requirements for the collection of electronic scrap.
