With the development and installation of a combined storage system with up to sextuple-deep storage and an integrated order-picking are, SSI Schäfer in its capacity as general contractor for intralogistics, has implemented the new central high bay warehouse as a sophisticated special solution for the electrical supply manufacturer Severin.

Basis for this highly efficient storage solution was the individually designed and installed combination of a satellite and a telescopic storage system for the storage and retrieval of over 1,200 different inventory items of the electrical supply manufacturer.

On an area of some 8,000 square meters, 36,000 storage locations are available for Euro pallets - integrated into a conveying and control concept, which exceeded all set objectives of the customer:
