Compostainer® Compostable waste, collected by Compostainers ® has a ph value of 7.0 and, therefore, is well preconditioned for the composting process. In this way, decaying processes combined with the development of unpleasant smells are avoided. Because of this intensive ventilation, the weight decreases by 13 % through evaporation of moisture in a fortnightly collection cycle (scientifically tested). |

Less water, less weight, less costs ! |
With a 120 litre Compostainer ® an average of 3 litres of water evaporates in a fortnightly collection cycle, 350 bins are emptied into the collection vehicle, equalling a reduction of 1,050 litres per vehicle. With 3 collection loads per day, this is equivalent to about 3,000 litres of water or 3 tons of weight which do not have to be transported and paid for at the composting plant.
