The 3M Group has set new standards with the construction of this first fully automated warehouse worldwide:

Throughput times have been reduced from two to one day, orderl ines to be handled have been doubled from 5,000 to 10,000 per day, and storage capacity has been increased from 40,000 to 60,000 pallet storage locaitons. With SSI Schäfer´s logistics concept even small volumes of the product line consisting of about 20,000 items can be delivered promptly. All extension buidlings and the new tray storage system were completed within the record time of twelve months as requested by the customer at the outset.
